Four files, carried in Ottawa and in Honoré-Mercier.
01
Environment and climate
It is the file of his whole career, from environmental law to climate philanthropy, and it is the one he carries in Ottawa.
What is moving
Environment Committee, Natural Resources Committee, and the Environment and Climate Caucus he co-founded.
02
Public transit
The east end of Montreal is under served. Better access to public transit is a long term project for the riding.
What is moving
My goal as a federal MP is to support provincial and municipal efforts to improve the quality of public transit in Honoré-Mercier. Whether it is a major transit project for the East End, a metro extension, more buses or other initiatives, I will support it. I sponsored a petition on public transit to that end (E-6953).
03
Housing and affordability
Housing people can afford and real pressure on the cost of living, for families and for seniors alike.
What is moving
My goal as an MP is to make sure the residents of Honoré-Mercier can find affordable housing. I am working with stakeholders to increase the number of homes in Anjou and Rivière-des-Prairies, and making the link with Build Canada Homes.
04
Community
Backing the organizations and businesses that keep the neighbourhood alive, and being present in the riding.
What is moving
My goal as an MP is to secure more space for community groups, and I actively support the Espace Rivière project. I am also working to make sure community organizations receive funding from Canada Summer Jobs and New Horizons for Seniors, and I remain attentive to every other need.
